Farewell to the turbulent year of 2025.
Thank you to the conclusion of 2025.
Thanks to the support of many staff members and many users,
"Fate/Grand Order" has reached its final destination.
In 2025, many of the measures taken by the FGO management
were aimed at allowing as many Masters as possible to participate in the final chapter in December.
Though I have regrets, I am overwhelmed with emotion to finally reach the ending I had always envisioned in the eight years since Part 1 ended.
"As someone who lived in this time and era,
it is meaningful to conclude it with the hands of everyone who enjoyed it together."
With this belief, I began the story of Part 2.
Late at night on December 27th, when the raid ended,
I played through to the end on a physical machine as a user,
and was overcome with a mysterious sense of loss after witnessing the conclusion.
What should I do from tomorrow?
But when I saw the clear sky the next morning, that sense of loss turned into a warm one.
I'm glad it's sunny today.
I can look back on the past decade with a smile.
Times move on, memories are overwritten,
and even this sense of accomplishment will eventually fade,
but I will always remember the joy we all felt on the morning of December 28, 2025, when we all reached the same destination.

Once again, Happy New Year 2026.
Thank you for your continued support this year.
This diary is meant to be a place for me to ramble on about my thoughts on the games, manga, and movies I've enjoyed as a user,
but I'll skip that part this time, as I'll be reading the mood.
But if I had to recommend one, I'd recommend the incredible French J-RPG,
"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33."
The battle system is meticulously designed to defy the conventional wisdom that fighting weak enemies is simply a matter of pressing commands.
The skill system is intuitive yet deep and incredibly fun. Gentle art that's at once artistic yet universally relatable,
witty dialogue between the characters, and incredibly moving music.
Entertainment knows no borders.
In an increasingly competitive gaming industry,
one cannot help but feel respect and admiration for the accomplishments of the 33rd Expeditionary Force.

Now, some anecdotes about the Final Chapter.
From here on, there will be spoilers,
so if you haven't completed the Final Chapter yet, please turn back.
I know it's a little late, but I was in charge of the scenario from the Olga and Marie Quest to the Final Chapter.
However.
As with the end of Part 1, I asked the writers who worked on each chapter to write the entire episodes for each Fantasy Tree Raid.
Kinoko:
By the time the Final Chapter of Part 2 begins, all of humanity's... Masters will be itching to raid,
so the tutorial for Fuyuki is about 40kb,
and the part from Olga Chaldeas to the Raid is about 40kb. And then the summary at the end will be about 40kb.
I think users will get tired of reading it at this point, so
please keep the Fantasy Tree Raid to 10-15kb combined.
Okay, here's the opening announcement template,
and the Seyfart chapter I drew as a sample.
↓
Lizard Swordsman Orochi:
I see, that's exactly right.
For Mycelium-dono, they've neatly stuck to the 15kb limit.
Let's continue.
By the way, we're already over 40kb by the time we get to Fuyuki...
↓
Kinoko:
I hate writers with good intuition like you.
It was a typical day like this.
Of course, I'd like to see not only the Servants from each chapter,
but also the Servants that appeared in events!
So, for the Kuusou-ki event,
I asked Hoshizora Meteo to write a wide range of content, from Circe to Bakin-chan,
Mita Makoto for the Typhon event,
Tanaka Ten for the Miss Crane events,
of course, amphibian for Tut and Van Gogh,
Ryo for the Bunyans,
OKSG for the Hibichika events,
and Kenshou for the Gudaguda group.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them all.
Thank you for listening to my unreasonable request!
And the ending credits.
Those wonderful visuals were created by Director Shu Hirotaka, who also worked on our 8th anniversary premium video.
It goes without saying, but he is an exceptionally talented director,
and leads a very busy life,
but he kindly took on the two-part video this time.
When I explained the final plot of Part 2, he agreed, and then immediately said, "I want to include all the Servants." Then, a few days later, he presented that incredibly elaborate storyboard.
I knew Director Shu would produce something artistically impressive, but I never expected it to be that impressive.
It's a fitting finale, a work brimming with love and talent.
Thank you very much.

Here, I'll explain some of the scenes in the game that were difficult to understand.
- Countering Solomon's Supernova
Solomon refracted a stellar-class attack above his head, causing it to collide with his head, setting the universe ablaze.
Naturally, doing something like that would burn Solomon, who was directly below him.
He used the scorching heat of the universe to activate his First Noble Phantasm.
In other words, without a stellar-class attack, Ars Nova would not have been possible.
This is where Malice's Super Assist shines again.
The alien priestess' true identity after entering Olga Chaldeas is Maris.
Da Vinci-chan speaks in an artificial voice, saying, "Your words and actions are different, so what about this alien priestess..."
But that was hard to understand...I regret it.
Similarly, Area 51's Marisbilly is an AI prepared by Maris,
"the Marisbilly that Maris perceives as Maris."
It's 80% Marisbilly itself, but 20% is Maris's subjective (or rather, expectations) perspective.
-Why did Area 51 remain?
I think it's like the eye of a hurricane.
If the universe expanded due to the Big Bang, the center of that explosion should have been hollow...
It's a miniature version of the Animusphere theory.
The reason the building wasn't destroyed may also be related to Olga Chaldeas' subconscious desire not to touch or remember "the place where she was killed."
Mashu isn't a homunculus, she's a designer baby.
As a person, she was born before 2004,
so her life changed after that year.
In FGO, she was adjusted at the Chaldea base in Antarctica,
but in the post-ending history, after her birth she was raised in a land on the edge of the Animusphere,
and grew up as a student measuring Earth's brain wavelengths.
Somewhere in her heart,
she always has thoughts of Antarctica, even though she's never been there,
a trait that even Mash herself can't put into words.
